In Frames of Mind, Gardner (1983) proposed seven intelligences:
linguistic,
musical,
spatial,
logical–mathematical,
bodily kinesthetic, and
interpersonal and
intrapersonal intelligence
—each an independent system with its own biological bases (p. 68).
